ZEN Card
#92
ZEN Card is a competent EUR-denominated Mastercard for crypto holders across 60 countries, but its 2.5% conversion fee and cashback limited to a handful of partner stores undercut its value proposition for active spenders.

The ZEN Card is a multicurrency debit card connected to a ZEN.COM payment account. Users can hold fiat balances, spend online or in stores and access ZEN's cashback and purchase-protection features.
ZEN also supports crypto-funded EUR top-ups in eligible regions, but the card itself spends fiat rather than holding cryptocurrency on the card balance.
Not in the same way as cards that spend a live crypto balance at checkout. ZEN accounts hold fiat currencies, and ZEN.COM says it does not store cryptocurrency for users.
Eligible ZEN.COM UAB customers can top up EUR using supported crypto, which is automatically converted to fiat before it reaches the account.
ZEN currently supports crypto-funded EUR top-ups using assets including USDT, USDC, BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, ADA, DAI, DOGE, LTC, TRX, AVAX and BCH.
The crypto is converted during the top-up. It does not remain as a cryptocurrency balance inside the ZEN account.
No. ZEN.COM says it does not create or manage crypto wallets and does not store users' crypto assets. Crypto top-ups and outbound crypto purchases are handled through external exchange providers.
Your ZEN account itself holds fiat. If you want to hold crypto, you need a separate wallet or exchange.
It can be either. ZEN.COM says new physical and virtual cards are assigned Mastercard or Visa automatically based on current availability.
Users cannot manually choose the network when ordering. The network shown in the app is therefore the final one for that card.
ZEN currently lists Free, Gold, Platinum and Pro consumer plans. The benefits differ in card allocation, ATM allowances, exchange pricing, rewards and purchase protection.
Free costs €0 per month, Gold €0.90 per month, and Platinum and Pro are currently listed at €6.90 per month.
The number depends on the plan. Free currently includes one virtual card, Gold one virtual and one physical card, while Platinum and Pro include up to three virtual and two physical cards.
Additional-card pricing can apply after the included allowance.
Yes. Physical cards can be used at compatible ATMs, and eligible virtual cards can also support cash withdrawal through supported wallet or ATM setups.
Current plan allowances vary. Free charges 1.5%, Gold includes up to €200 per month without ZEN's withdrawal fee, while Platinum and Pro include up to €800 before a 1.5% charge applies.
Yes. ZEN supports Apple Pay and Google Pay, and also lists Garmin Pay and Xiaomi Pay for compatible cards and devices.
This makes the virtual card usable for contactless payments without waiting for a physical card.
ZEN supports 35 fiat currencies in its multicurrency account. If you pay in a currency you already hold, that balance can be used directly; otherwise conversion applies under the plan's current pricing.
ZEN's published minimum exchange margins currently range from about 0.60% on Free down to 0.10% on higher plans, depending on the currency pair.
ZEN Care is ZEN.COM's purchase-protection service for eligible card transactions. It can help with issues such as duplicate subscription charges, unauthorised card use and certain purchase disputes.
Coverage depends on the applicable plan and transaction terms, so users should review the current ZEN Care conditions before relying on it for a specific purchase.
Yes. In the EEA, UAB ZEN.COM is a licensed electronic money institution supervised by the Bank of Lithuania and operates across the EEA under passporting rules.
ZEN also has separately regulated entities in the UK and Singapore. The legal entity serving the user depends on residence.
ZEN's consumer crypto services are currently available only to customers served by ZEN.COM UAB. Customers of ZEN-UK Limited or ZEN.COM PTE. LTD. cannot use those crypto features.
Card availability is broader than crypto-feature availability, so users should not assume every ZEN cardholder can fund the account with crypto.
Download ZEN.COM, create an account and complete identity verification. The app shows the card types available under your plan.
A virtual card can be available immediately after setup, while physical cards can be ordered from the Cards section where supported.
Use ZEN.COM's official Help Center and the in-app support options for card, cashback, ATM, crypto-top-up or account issues. ZEN's official site also lists contact details for its regulated entities.
If a card is lost or compromised, block it in the app and contact official support promptly. Never share passwords or one-time authentication codes with unsolicited contacts.
