xPortal Card
#93
The xPortal Card suits MultiversX ecosystem users in Europe who already hold EGLD. Free virtual card and no monthly fee are genuine strengths, but the 2.5% FX fee and staking-gated cashback limit its broader appeal.

The xPortal Card is a Mastercard debit card linked to the Cash account inside the xPortal app. It lets eligible users fund a euro card balance with fiat or by converting supported crypto, then spend wherever Mastercard is accepted.
The card is part of xPortal's broader crypto super-app, which also includes a non-custodial multichain wallet, swaps, staking and other Web3 features.
Yes. xPortal currently issues Mastercard debit cards and says they can be used wherever Mastercard is accepted.
The current standard card is available virtually and as a physical Fresh Mint card. xPortal also operates community-branded Mastercard products, such as its MultiversX and Sui cards.
You can fund the xPortal card from supported crypto, but the card balance itself is denominated in EUR. xPortal converts the selected crypto into fiat before it becomes spendable through the Mastercard account.
This means the merchant receives a normal fiat card payment. You are not sending an on-chain crypto transaction to the merchant at checkout.
The xPortal crypto wallet is non-custodial, meaning users control the wallet keys and xPortal says it does not hold the crypto in that wallet.
The card account is different. Crypto used for card spending is converted and moved into a regulated fiat payment account, so the EUR card balance should not be described as self-custodial.
The standard xPortal card currently advertises up to 0.5% cashback, with the rate linked to the amount of eligible EGLD or SUI staked. Published tiers range from 0.1% to 0.5%.
The standard monthly cashback cap currently ranges from €5 to €30 depending on tier. xPortal has also run separate promotional campaigns with higher headline rates, so users should distinguish temporary promotions from the base programme.
xPortal's current card page lists the standard card issuing fee as free and shows delivery of €5.99 in Romania or €9.99 internationally for the current card offer.
Older Help Centre documentation still lists a €9.99 physical-card price plus delivery. Because the official pages conflict, check the live order screen before confirming a physical-card request.
The current standard card page lists a €2,500 daily top-up limit, €10,000 monthly top-up limit and €5,000 daily spending limit.
xPortal directs users to the Fees & Limits section inside the app for the definitive account-level limits. Those figures can change as card plans and verification rules evolve.
Yes. The physical xPortal Mastercard can be used for ATM withdrawals where supported. The current standard-card page lists an ATM withdrawal allowance of up to €500 per month.
ATM fees and exact transaction limits should be checked in the Fees & Limits document inside the app. The ATM operator can also add its own surcharge.
Yes. xPortal supports both Apple Pay and Google Pay for eligible cards, allowing the virtual card to be used for contactless payments without waiting for a physical card.
Mobile-wallet payments still use the same xPortal card balance and card-programme rules.
xPortal supports a broad set of assets across multiple chains, including BTC, ETH, SOL, SUI, EGLD, POL, DOGE, BNB, BERA and USDC on supported networks.
Not every asset or network is necessarily available for card top-ups at all times. Check the Main Wallet top-up flow before sending crypto specifically for card spending.
xPortal's current cashback terms identify Capital Financial Services S.A. as the payment-card issuer under a white-label arrangement. The company is an electronic money institution authorised by the National Bank of Romania.
xPortal operates the app and rewards programme, while the issuer provides regulated e-money and card-payment services. The roles are separate.
The current card and cashback programme is focused on eligible European Economic Area users. xPortal's cashback rules require participants to be adults and to be citizens and residents of an EEA member state for that programme.
Availability of specific card designs and physical delivery can differ by country, so the application flow in xPortal is the final eligibility check.
Yes. xPortal can be used as a non-custodial wallet without the same card-level verification, but access to the Cash account and payment card requires identity checks for eligible users.
The card is therefore not a no-KYC payment product. Complete verification only through the official xPortal app.
Download xPortal, create or import a wallet and complete the required identity verification for the Cash and card services. Open the Cards section and add a new card.
xPortal currently offers a free virtual card and a Fresh Mint physical card. Its Help Centre also references Pro and Diamond Touch physical plans planned for 2026, so the live app should be checked for the latest available options.
Use xPortal's official Help Centre, in-app Intercom chat or support@xportal.com for card, wallet, cashback, top-up or transaction problems. The standard card page currently lists standard support through Intercom chat.
If the issue concerns the non-custodial wallet, support should never require your secret phrase or private keys. Keep those credentials private even when troubleshooting.
