En résumé

DeCard Luminaries is a metal stablecoin credit card from DCS Card Centre, the former Diners Club Singapore, spending USDT and USDC with 0% FX fees worldwide. Cashback runs from 2% to 10% by monthly spend, alongside lounge access at over 1,400 airports and up to US$1,000,000 of travel insurance. The catch: US$388 a year plus US$100 for the card, and cashback is capped at US$200 a month.

The 10% headline barely exists in practice. Cashback caps at US$200 a month, which you reach at about US$5,700 of spending, so the 10% band only covers roughly US$700 before it stops paying. Judge this card on the lounge access, insurance and 0% FX instead.

DeCard is issued by DCS Card Centre Pte Ltd in Singapore, which evolved from Diners Club Singapore and carries over fifty years of card-issuing heritage. Luminaries is the premium tier: a metal card with a credit limit powered by D-Vault, an account handling reconciliation, payment tracking and repayments. Benefits include 24/7 Visa concierge, lounge access at more than 1,400 airports, travel insurance to US$1,000,000 and Umy Diamond Membership giving 5% off hotels globally.

Each month you choose cashback or DePoints in-app before the 1st, Singapore time. Cashback pays 2% on the first US$2,000 of monthly spend, 3% on the next US$3,000 and 10% above US$5,000, capped at US$200 a month. DePoints pay 6, 10 and 30 per US dollar across the same bands, capped at 66,000 monthly and valid two years. Scan-and-Pay transactions earn neither. Rewards are credited by the 10th of the following month.

XPlace Platinum costs $999 a year for 4% Credit Mode cashback, a $750,000 monthly ceiling, 0% FX, unlimited access to 1,300+ airport lounges and VIP priority concierge. Cashback lands as real USDC in your wallet at settlement. The catch: it needs roughly $33,000 of annual spending before the extra cashback covers the fee.

This is the only tier with 0% FX, which for anyone spending abroad may matter more than the extra percentage point. Break-even on cashback alone is around $33,000 a year, but unlimited lounges and priority concierge carry most of the value at this price.

XPlace is operated by Pontech Group L.L.C-FZ, registered in the Meydan Free Zone, Dubai, under licence 2527237.01, and states it is a technology company, not a bank, lender or investment firm, and does not take custody of client assets. The Visa card is issued by Third National under a programme managed by Signify Holdings; borrowing runs through the Kamino protocol, where XPlace is not the lender. Platinum costs $999 a year with a $750,000 monthly limit, 0% FX, VIP priority concierge, unlimited lounge access and five Fast Track passes annually.

Credit Mode pays 4% cashback on this tier, the highest available, credited in USDC at settlement. Against the free tier's 1%, the extra three points cover the $999 fee at about $33,300 of annual spending. Platinum is also the only tier with 0% foreign exchange fees. Collateral keeps earning through Kamino Finance at rates currently between 1.59% and 6.15%.

Avici Signature is the upper tier of Avici's secured Visa credit card, backed by crypto you hold in self-custody. It waives every ATM charge, carries Visa Signature travel benefits, and applies no transaction fees or currency markup. The catch: $30 for the first year and $20 annually after, plus $75 for the physical card, and Europe is not covered.

Signature earns its fee in one place: ATM withdrawals are free, where Platinum charges $1 plus 0.65% and $0.60 for declines. If you take cash out regularly the $20 a year pays for itself; if you never do, Platinum does the same job for nothing.

Avici Signature is the higher tier of Avici's secured Visa credit card, funded by crypto held in a self-custody smart wallet with passkeys. The virtual card costs $30 for the first year and $20 annually after; the physical card is $75 with $20 a year from the second year. Delivery is free and untracked in three to four weeks, or priority for $50 internationally and $15 in the US.

There is no cashback. Avici charges no transaction fees and no currency markup, though Visa may add 0.4% to 1% on non-USD spending. Signature's advantage over Platinum is at the cash machine: no withdrawal fee, no declined transaction fee and no balance enquiry fee, against $1 plus 0.65% and $0.60 charges on Platinum. Daily ATM limits are the same at $250 across three withdrawals.

OrbitX Lux is the upper tier at $30 a year, a Visa Signature card with a metal option, halving the foreign exchange fee to 1% and the conversion charge to 10 cents. Add-on cards are unlimited and daily spending is uncapped. The catch: OrbitX gives conflicting prices for the metal card, quoting both $350 and included.

For $18 more than Neo, Lux halves the FX fee to 1%, removes the daily spending cap and doubles the ATM limit. If you spend more than about $1,800 a year in foreign currency it pays for itself. The Signature tier perks are a bonus rather than the reason.

OrbitX Network Group Pte Ltd is registered in Singapore under UEN 202448623M and states it is a financial technology company, not a bank, with regulated services provided by unnamed partner banks. Lux is Visa Signature with unlimited add-on cards and a metal card option. Replacement costs $199. Deposits accept USDT or USDC on Polygon and Base, with Solana and Tron planned. Delivery takes one to four weeks.

There is no cashback. Lux reduces costs rather than paying rewards: 10 cents per fiat conversion against 20 on Neo, 1% on non-USD spending against 2%, and a 5 cent declined transaction fee. Deposits are free, withdrawals cost $2, and ATM use adds the operator's charge plus 2% plus $2. Daily spending is unlimited with a $1,000 ATM ceiling.

XPlace Gold costs $249 a year for 3% Credit Mode cashback, a $200,000 monthly ceiling, a personal concierge, four free airport lounge visits and two Fast Track passes. The catch: 0% FX remains a Platinum-only benefit, and the cashback rate applies to Credit Mode rather than direct stablecoin spending.

Gold breaks even against the free tier at about $12,450 of annual spending, and the $200,000 monthly ceiling means heavy spenders clear that quickly. Four lounge visits and a personal concierge make it the sensible stopping point unless you fly constantly.

XPlace is operated by Pontech Group L.L.C-FZ, registered in the Meydan Free Zone, Dubai, under licence 2527237.01, and states it is a technology company, not a bank, lender or investment firm, and does not take custody of client assets.

XPlace Silver costs $99 a year and lifts the monthly ceiling tenfold to $20,000 while doubling Credit Mode cashback to 2%. It adds a standard concierge and one free airport lounge visit a year. The catch: 0% FX is still reserved for Platinum, and the lounge allowance is a single visit.

At $99 for an extra percentage point, Silver pays for itself at roughly $9,900 of annual spending, which the $20,000 monthly ceiling makes easily reachable. The concierge and single lounge visit are incidental. This is the tier where the maths starts working.

XPlace is operated by Pontech Group L.L.C-FZ, registered in the Meydan Free Zone, Dubai, under licence 2527237.01, and states it is a technology company, not a bank, lender or investment firm, and does not take custody of client assets. Silver costs $99 a year with a $20,000 monthly limit, standard concierge and one free lounge visit annually.

Credit Mode pays 2% cashback on this tier, credited in USDC at settlement. Against the free tier's 1%, the extra point covers the $99 fee at about $9,900 of annual spending. Collateral continues earning through Kamino Finance at rates currently between 1.59% and 6.15% depending on the asset. XPlace does not publish an FX rate for this tier.

Wise is a multi-currency account whose Visa card holds 40+ currencies and works in 215 countries and territories, converting at the mid-market rate with no markup. You get local account details in 22 currencies, and US dollar balances can earn 3.14% APY. The catch: it is not a crypto card at all, Wise is not itself a bank, and card fees vary by country.

Wise is the benchmark most crypto cards are implicitly measured against: real multi-currency accounts, mid-market rates and no markup. It holds no crypto whatsoever, so it belongs in your comparison as the traditional alternative rather than a competitor on crypto features.

Wise US Inc is a Money Service Business registered with FinCEN, not an FDIC-insured bank, authorised as an MSB in most states and sponsored by Community Federal Savings Bank elsewhere. The card programme is issued by Lead Bank and Community Federal Savings Bank under licence from Visa U.S.A. Funds are safeguarded in separate accounts, and Wise holds 65 licences worldwide serving 14.8 million customers moving $16 billion monthly.

There is no cashback or rewards programme. Wise competes on the exchange rate instead, converting at the mid-market rate with no markup and showing fees upfront on every transfer. Opt-in interest pays 3.14% APY on US dollar balances with passthrough FDIC insurance up to $250,000 through a Program Bank, also available on GBP and EUR, though not to residents of New York or Alaska. Card fees sit on a separate pricing page.

Nomad is a Brazilian fintech offering US dollar and euro balances on a Visa debit card issued by Community Federal Savings Bank, with FDIC insurance up to $250,000 and two free ATM withdrawals a month. It bundles lounge access, travel insurance and an international SIM. The catch: it holds no crypto, serves Brazilians only, and converting reais carries charges of 3.5% on top of the conversion fee.

Nomad is a conventional Brazilian dollar account rather than a crypto card, and its real cost is the conversion stack: a conversion fee that varies by loyalty tier plus 3.5% in charges on the international account. The FDIC protection and lounge access are what you are paying for.

The Nomad Visa Debit Card is issued by Community Federal Savings Bank, Member FDIC, under a Visa U.S.A. licence, with Nomad Fintech Inc of Orlando acting as programme manager. Nomad is not a bank. Foreign exchange and transfers from Brazil are conducted in partnership with Ouribank S.A. Banco Múltiplo. Dollar balances are FDIC insured to $250,000 across Community Federal and its network banks. Nomad reports 3.5 million Brazilian users.

The debit card carries no cashback; a separate Nomad Explorer credit card for domestic Brazilian use earns three points per dollar. Nomad's cost structure combines the commercial dollar rate, a conversion fee that falls as you progress through the Nomad Pass loyalty tiers, and charges of 1.1% for the Investment Account or 3.5% for the International Account. Two ATM withdrawals a month are free.

Fizen's Adventure Card is a self-custody Visa funded from your own USDT, with no crypto-to-fiat conversion fee and QR scan-to-pay in Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Vietnam and the Philippines. It costs $9.99 once, adds a 5% APR bonus on USDT vault balances, and works with Apple Pay and Google Pay. The catch: Fizen publishes no cashback rate, no FX fee and no ATM quota figure.

Fizen is built for travellers rather than crypto traders: QR payments where cards are awkward, an eSIM store, and a Visa for everywhere else. Tether's backing is real weight. But almost none of the running costs are published, which makes it impossible to compare on price against anything else here.

Fizen Ltd has built stablecoin payment products since 2022 and received a strategic investment from Tether, the issuer of USDT, in April 2025. The Adventure Card is a Visa accepted at 150 million merchants across 160 countries, funded from a self-custody balance you control rather than an exchange account. It costs $9.99 as a one-off. Two higher tiers, Pioneer at $999.99 and Frontier at $9,999, are advertised as coming soon and cannot be ordered.

Fizen advertises FiPoint cashback on card spending but publishes no rate, so none is recorded here. Cardholders also get discounts and cashback on eSIMs, hotels and flights, zero trading fees on the first $5,000 of US stocks and ETFs, and a 5% APR bonus on USDT vault balances. Promotional offers of up to 10% cashback appear on Fizen's blog tied to referral codes and capped at $50, which are campaigns rather than a standing rate.

Deblock Premium adds what the free plan lacks: up to 1% cashback on card payments, 4% a year on your balance paid daily, unlimited free currency exchange and €1,000 of free ATM withdrawals monthly. Travel and car insurance are included, and crypto trading drops to 0.49%. The catch: from €10 a month, and cashback tops out at 1%.

The 4% yield is the reason to pay, not the 1% cashback. At €10 a month you need roughly €3,000 sitting in the account for the yield alone to cover the fee, before counting cheaper crypto trading and the insurance. Above that it is straightforwardly good value.

Deblock Premium starts at €10 a month and includes ten virtual cards, unlimited one-off cards, three free express deliveries and an NFT-branded physical card. ATM withdrawals are capped at €30,000 with the first €1,000 monthly free. Product, travel and car insurance are included. Deblock SAS holds an AMF crypto licence under A2025-001 and an ACPR electronic money institution licence under bank code 17748.

Premium pays up to 1% cashback on card payments and 4% a year on current account balances, paid daily with no cap. Deblock states this is a variable gross rate as of 1 April 2026 applicable to Premium and Native clients, so it can change. Currency exchange is unlimited and free, international transfers carry a 50% fee discount, and buying, selling or swapping crypto costs 0.49% rather than the 1.99% on the free plan.
